"Hey Monday"

Oh my goodness, another band I am loving. :) For some reason this song has just stood out to me recently and I just love it. They have a bunch of great songs, look them up!!!

David Choi....

Oh my heck I am in love with this guy right now. I know that sounds so dumb but I came across him on Youtube during one of my little soul searching for songs that go along with the mood and I love him. It has been a really long time since I have come across and artist that I just love and not just one song but all of them! I already downloaded both of his cds and listened to them all the way through at least once. Crazy I know but this is what happens when you are sick, you get to listen to music.

Now I don't mean this to feel like a pity party because it really isn't but this song really spoke to me and I guess its cause that's how I feel about myself sometimes, that other people view me that way but not a real secret love. Ha ha, anyway it's hard to explain but I love it.

Comfort Music...

I have said it before and I'll say it again, I always have theme songs and songs that get me through certain parts of my life. Recently the two songs I have been listening to none stop have been awesome for me and I love them. If you haven't heard of Adele you should, I love her and have been listening to her for awhile now.

Sara Bareilles "King of Anything"

This song is kick trash. My reasoning.... #1) putting a guy in his place. I love when girls do that. #2) They made a piano out of utensils and are pretending to play it! awesome, wish I would have thought of that one. #3) Awesome beat!

DMB

Dave Matthews Band is my obsession at the current moment. I just think they are incredible. It is hard for me to pick a favorite but one of my favorites is from their new album which is amazing! I love random adventures and whenever I listen to this song, I just get excited to find that someone to do everything with. You and Me together we can do anything! Think about it....isn't that the truth!

Alright Kiddos - Here is my first recommendation of great music. If you haven't heard of Christopher Jak, look him up and listen to all his songs! He is wonderful.

"Halfway Gone" by Lifehouse

I love Lifehouse, they have so many great songs! This is a song I came across the other day that just really took the words from my mouth. I'm still feeling this way about situations in my life. One of my favorite lines in this song is, "Talk is cheap, give me your word." I think sometimes people are great with their words but when you don't back up what you say...they mean nothing. When I feel that this is starting to happen I find I start distancing myself from these people because it bothers me so much. So that is another reason why I liked this song, I'm halfway gone and I've let you know, now what are you going to do about it? That is when you see the true colors.

"Freckles" by Natasha Bedingfield

So I have been thinking alot about happiness. Do we only have it around others? Do we rely on them to make us happy or do I make myself truly happy. I know that sometimes other people rely on others for that but we need to learn to truly love who we are and find that inner happiness. Especially as girls we go through what seems to be the mountain/valley phase of confidence in ourselves. I am grateful to say though that after 24 years of life I can look in the mirror and think,I'm a good person. I came across this song by Natasha Bedingfield, who I love! It is called, "Freckles" and it is all about loving who you are. This is definately one of my top favorites right now!

Welcome!

I started this blog because I find that my obsession with music is getting out of hand. :) I want to post song, after song, after song on my facebook page and it gets too cluttered. I want to be able to have a place to post a song that means something to me. Quite often I don't have the words, yet a song speaks to my heart. I am always listening to music and have a theme song playing in my head. I don't even care if people come to this blog but I wanted to be able to have a place where I can express myself, people can find new artists, and a place to help them express their emotions and find comfort in a song.
